On Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 2-6pm, ArtsFest: Art in All Dimensions takes the arts to new heights in the City of Rahway (literally!). With an array of performance artists showcasing their talents, including: a gravity defying aerialist, the skill and grace of a contortionist, the dance moves of Steppaz with Attitude and Rahway Dance Theater, as well as music from Sarah Teti, Sweater Pills, Stefano Catugno and Karickter. Visual Artists will have their creativity and talent on display and some of Irving Street’s local restaurants will show off their culinary skills with creations from their kitchens.  With over 50 accomplished and amateur artists and local vendors displaying their work and selling hand-crafted items, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Those in attendance can help to create art as well with live art classes, demonstrations, and interactive community art pieces. After a day of being immersed in the arts scene, visitors and residents of Rahway can enjoy the Union County Performing Arts Center’s feature presentation of “The Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience: Who’s Bad.” This event will provide “dinner and a show” options for those who wish to enhance their theater experience by visiting a local Rahway restaurant before the show.
