Mayor Raymond A. Giacobbe, the Rahway City Council, and the City of Rahway’s Special Improvement District invite you to get your taste buds ready for our premier Restaurant Tasting Event, happening in Downtown Rahway—the Rahway Taste of Spring!
Now in its 22nd year, this event has been widely recognized as the largest tasting event of its kind in the NJ/NY Metro Area, typically with upwards of 40 eateries and bakeries, plus an additional 40 stations of national distributors of fine wine, boutique beers and aperitifs. With live music, good food, wines and beers from all over the world, Rahway’s Taste of Spring is the place to be this April.

2026 Taste of Spring Recap
Mayor Raymond A. Giacobbe, the Rahway City Council, and Rahway Special Improvement District (SID) thank all who attended the Taste of Spring on Friday, April 17, 2026.
The 2026 event featured 28 unique local businesses who served up everything from single-origin coffee to craft beer, delicious appetizers, entrées, and desserts. National distributors offered samples of fine wine, specialty cocktails and aperitifs. Attendees also enjoyed live music, a 360-degree photo booth, and other entertainment.
The 2026 Taste-Off Winners were announced to an excited audience by Mayor Giacobbe, the Union County Commissioners, and Rahway SID Board Chair Jorge Casalins. This year, Taste of Spring attendees voted for three awards – Best of Taste, Best Display/Presentation, and Best Alcohol Brand Display.
