Funded by the Union County Board of County Commissioners.\n“Nothing could be of less importance than what other people think. Let people stare! For once in their dreary lives\, they have something wonderful to look at; Look! Look!” It’s a jungle out there\, so come inside Hamilton Stage to watch Lyle\, Lyle Crocodile and be charmed by a scarf-wearing\, singing reptile named Lyle! \nWhat to expect at a Sensory Friendly Theatre event: \n\nEach live performance runs 60 minutes from start to finish\, with no intermission. Movies run at their full length.\nSeating is general admission; a limited number of tickets will be sold to maintain a comfortably-sized audience.\nLights will remain on at 75% brightness inside the theater auditorium during the entire performance.\nSound volume will be lowered and remain constant to prevent abrupt\, jarring sounds.\nNew craft area added for the movie night.

Considered a classic of the genre\, this beloved opera has inspired scenes in films such as Pretty Woman and Priscilla\, Queen of the Desert. Although written in 1853\, its themes of the hypocrisy of upper-class society\, and the impossibility of escaping one’s social class and fate\, all the while searching for true love\, still resonate with audiences today. \nUCPAC’s Main Stage is located at 1601 Irving Street. Free parking one block away at Hamilton Stage parking lot. \nFree tickets are available for for seniors (55+) and students (18 & under) with ID.\nIn-person pickup only at the box office. \nThis program is made possible in part by a 2025 HEART (History\, Education\, Art Reaching Thousands) Grant from the Union County Board of County Commissioners.
